Skidmore’s Holiday Bowl celebrates 40 Years with weekend-long anniversary celebration
Four decades of bowling, community and memories honored with live music, raffles, specialty menu and charitable giveback
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (Feb. 23, 2026) — Skidmore’s Holiday Bowl is celebrating 40 years as one of Albuquerque’s most beloved gathering places with a four-day anniversary celebration beginning Thursday, February 26 through Sunday, March 1. The milestone weekend will honor four decades of bowling, league traditions and family memories – while raising funds to support High School Bowlers and Warehouse 505.
“For 40 years, Holiday Bowl has been more than just a place to bowl – it’s been part of people’s lives and milestones,” said Gary Skidmore, owner of Skidmore’s Holiday Bowl. “We’ve seen generations of families and league players grow up here, and that’s something we never take for granted.”
“This celebration is about thanking the community that has supported us for four decades,” added Eve Skidmore, owner of Skidmore’s Holiday Bowl. “We’re proud of how the venue has evolved, and we’re excited to continue creating experiences that bring people together for years to come.”
Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy a full lineup of celebratory events, including:
Leading up to and throughout the celebration, raffle tickets will be available for a total of 40 bowling and music themed prizes. Highlights include two electric guitars, a two-hour private performance from Buena Suerte, gift baskets from local vendors and additional bowling-related experiences. All raffle proceeds will be donated to High School Bowlers and Warehouse 505.
From February 23 through March 1, guests can also purchase a limited-edition Appetizer Card for $20, valid for $2 off one appetizer per visit for an entire year (March 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027).
As it celebrates four decades in business, Skidmore’s Holiday Bowl continues to modernize the guest experience with newly renovated lanes featuring updated string machines and furnishings, a private karaoke room, an enclosed patio, expanded arcade offerings including Godzilla VR and the addition of Neoverse – a 144-foot LED wall spanning all 26 lanes that creates an immersive entertainment atmosphere.
